6 more killed in shooting incidents in Karachi

Tense situation prevails after killing of six people including a PPP worker in the fresh spate of violence in various areas of Karachi.According to police, unidentified gunmen opened fire on PPP’s regional activist Imran in Sakhi Hassan Chowrangi area.In another incident, 2 suspects were shot dead and another was injured during police encounter near docks police station. Police claimed that suspects committed robbery and weapons were also seized from their possession.In Korangi Sector 51, an 18-year-old boy was shot dead. A gunny bag packed body was also recovered from New Karachi area.Karachi has remained under the grip of violence for the last couple of weeks in which many civilians and political activists have lost their lives.
