Domestic violence bill 2009 against shariah: JUI-F chief

Political parties began consultative session over the bill at Parliament House on Friday.JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman while expressing his reservations on the bill said the bill follows NGO’s stance.He said the clauses in the bill replicate the same bill approved by Indian parliament in 2005.He further said he believes in women’s empowerment but under Islamic rules.PPP leader Khursheed Shah said bill will be presented in the Parliament once all parties agree with it.
