Summary Earlier, SC issued order to retract decision on promotion of inspectors on political grounds.
According to details, despite Supreme Court’s order, seven inspectors in traffic department are still working as Deputy Superintendent Police, however, thirty confirmed DSPs are yet to be given charge.The inspectors include Nehal, Nawaz Chandio, Kamal Mangan and Mehar Ali and three others.According to the sources, these police inspectors were promoted to the rank of DSPs due to their political affiliations.
