PML-N agrees to attend next meeting of PCNS

Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani spoke to Nawaz Sharif by the telephone and stressed that the PML-N should attend the next meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security.The Prime Minister informed Nawaz Sharif that the PCNS wanted to finalise proposals regarding ties with the US, NATO and ISAF, which is why it was important for the PML-N to attend the next meeting.According to the spokesman for the PM House, during the telephone conversation Nawaz Sharif expressed the PML-N’s willingness to attend the next meeting of the PCNS.On Wednesday, the PCNS could not finalise its proposals for the session of Parliament scheduled for Thursday. The meeting of the PCNS was chaired by Raza Rabbani and the PML-N continued its boycott due to the hike in price of petroleum products
