Summary Textile factory owners and traders have announced to go on strike on April 8 in Faisalabad.
They would also observe black day the same day.Pakistan Textile Exporters Association chairman Rana Arif Tousif along with spokesmen of mercantile and industrial organizations announced that all factories in the city would remain closed on April 8 and special rallies would be taken out in every industrial sector.All the business centres of city would also come out on strike on the same day.The entries and exits would be closed while black banners would be hoisted on important crossroads, buildings and factories.The industrialists were of the view that they would stand by the workers during peaceful strike. They said that further strategy would also be prepared for long march.Industrialists said that the industry has been destroyed due to loadshedding of electricity and gas as well as hike in prices of petroleum products.They said that factories are closed; workers have become unemployed and no way is out except protest demonstrations and protest rallies.
