Summary Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani left for Saudi Arabia on an official visit.
According to ISPR, objective of the visit is to focus on bilateral relations with emphasis on security and defence aspects.During the visit, the COAS is scheduled to meet senior civil and military leadership of Saudi Arabia. According to the sources Pak-US relations and present and future perspective of Afghanistan would be discussed during the meetings.The sources added that progress regarding US-Taliban talks would also come under discussion during the meetings.
