Public outburst persists at loadsheding in Punjab

People belonging to different localities gathered in Township in front of the LESCO office and shouted slogans against mismanagement.Applicants requested LESCO officials for rectification of feudal adjustment charges but the staff showed irresolution over the issue. At this, angry mob broke goods in Custom Service CentreLikewise, traders also staged a sit-in on the Mall Road against unannounced loadshedding and shouted slogans against rulers.Main roads including the Motorway were also blocked during demonstrations.In Faisalabad, angry textile workers held protest and blocked main road of the city. They also shouted slogans against government which had made their lives full of sufferings.The entire industrial sector has become stagnant due to loadshedding. Angry workers also tore off snaps of political leaders and piled stones on government buildings. They also set utility bills on fire with the announcement that they would continue strikes till the end of loadshedding.Protested staged a sit-in at Toll Plaza at the Motorway and also broke windows of many vehicles.
