Summary Supreme Court has said that government servants are bound to the Constitution and law.
Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry while hearing Wahida Shah and Nafees Khan suo motu cases said that officials would not be allowed to be degraded.The Attorney General said that transfer orders’ of Sargodha DPO on March 12. At this, Justice Khilji Arif said that the DPO has not been informed about cancellation of transfer orders.The Federal Government had transferred DPO Rizwan.Former MPA and PPP leader Aslam Madhiana had broken legs of 72-year-old schoolteacher over resistance.Dunya News aired this news and the court took notice of the issue. The accused Aslam Madhyana’s bail application was cancelled and he is behind bars.
