Protests against loadshedding continue in Faislabad

Citizens and industrial workers staged protest demonstrations on fourth consecutive day against the unscheduled prolonged electricity loadshedding. While a complete shutter down is being observed in the city on the call of trade and labour unions.Protestors were of the view that they were facing loadshedding for more than 18 hours out of 24 hours. This situation has multiplied their suffering as they have no activities and opportunities to earn their livings. Their families are compelled to die of starvation and hunger.The country is in severe grip of loadshedding, forcing irked residents to come to the streets. Some areas have been facing load-shedding for over 18-20 hours a day.On the other hand; Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani hass too notice of the issue and directed ministries concerned to resolve the issue.
