Summary Oil Tankers Owners Association has announced to halt supply of furnace oil for indefinite period.
The association has announced to halt the supply of furnace oil in Karachi from today. According to Chairman Oil Tankers Owners Association, Akram Durani, OGRA has announced 45 percent increase in fares of oil tankers in May 2011. However, several companies did not increase the fares.Akram Durani has vowed to continue countrywide strike until their dues were not cleared.
