Parliament debates future ties with US

The parliament has opened a debate on the terms of the nations re-engagement with the United States after ties were all but severed following deadly American airstrikes on Pakistani troops in November.These recommendations have been prepared by the Parliamentary Committee on National Security which consists of members of all political parties.The session on Tuesday could help determine whether the countrys reopens U.S. and NATO supply lines to Afghanistan.Pakistan had suspended the mutual cooperation in the war against terrorism with the US and NATO during the protest against the martyring of 24 Pakistani soldiers by the NATO air attack in November of last year at the check posts of the boundaries at the tribal area of Mohmand Agency.
