Summary Former law minister Babar Awan will be indicted in contempt case today.
Supreme Court of Pakistan will indict Babar Awan in contempt of court case today (Tuesday). SC had taken the notice of former law minister’s press conference on Memogate scandal.Justice Ijaz Afzal Khan and Justice Athar Saeed would hear the case against Babar Awan. After hearing on 1st March SC saved its verdict and announced it on 9th of March.Supreme Court in verdict had declared that the press conference of 31st December came under the contempt of court. The Court will indict Babar Awan today (Tuesday) and after the formal trial of the case would be started.
