Four arrested in run-up to operation against extortionists

As per details, security forces and law enforcement agencies arrested the four accused in different localities of Lyari. Police said that the arrested accused were reportedly involved in dangerous crimes of theft, robbery and target killing. Heavy quantity of weapons also has been recovered from their possession. Sindh IG and Additional IG visited the specific areas and directed security forces to be conscious during operation to be formally launched midnight. Apart from this, special forces have been reserved to support frontline forces taking part in operation.It is worth mentioning that Minister for Interior Rehman Malik had announced to launch an operation against extortionists at midnight in Karachi.He also assured that action against extortionists would be taken without any discrimination.
