Justice Mazhar Iqbal Sandhu of Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench resumed the hearing of the case regarding disappearance of Brig Ali from hospital. Brig Ali had been arrested on his alleged contacts with the banned religious outfits.Dr Colonel Waqar and Colonel Tahir submitted the initial reply on behalf of GHQ in which the stance has been maintained that Brig Ali is under the detention of 111 Brigade where his court martial proceedings were underway.Bari Ali’s counsel Colonel (retd) Inamur Raheem in his argument took the stance that initiation of court martial proceedings without information was against the rules.The court sought a written reply from GHQ and adjourned the hearing till March 19.
