Summary At least three people were killed in incidents of violence in different parts of Karachi.
According to details, an encounter took place between Police and dacoits at the bernus Road, killing a police man and a dacoit.Police informed that two dacoits entered a milk shop at the Bernus Road to commit a robbery. A police party reached the sight and surrounded the dacoits. An encounter took place between police and dacoits in which a dacoit was killed on the spot while his accomplice managed to escape. Policeman Muhammad Yaqoob and four passers by received injuries. The injured were rushed to the Civil Hospital where Yaqoob succumbed to his wounds.The other incident took place in Liquatabad area where a man was shot dead by dacoits in resistance in a mobile snatching attempt. A sharp increase is reported in robbery and mobile snatching incidents in the city.
