Wasan assures MQM of anti-extortion action

A delegation of Muthidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) led by Deputy Convener MQM Coordination Committee Dr Farooq Sattar called on Interior Minister Sindh Manzoor Wasan in his office.Officials of law enforcement agencies were also present in the meeting.The MQM delegation expressed their apprehensions about rising extortion incidents and street crimes in the city especially National Assembly constituencies NA 249 and NA 252.Manzoor Wasan assured that stern action would be taken against the accused and miscreants across the city.Dr Farooq Sattar told Wasan that extortion incidents has risen to a alarming level and traders community experiencing immense problems in this regards.Dr Sattar demanded indiscriminate action against the miscreants and assured that MQM will furnish its full support for the rule of law in the city.
