The Edible Oil Transport Association has called off their strike after negotiations with Commissioner Karachi, Roshan Ali Khan.It was decided that National Logistic Cell (NLC) would only use those tankers owned by the company for the supply edible oil and ghee.President Oil Tankers Association, Asif Ali Khan informed that arrested members of the association would be released and the supply of edible oil and ghee would start today.The 22-day tussle between Pakistan Vanaspati Manufacturers’ Association (PVMA) and tanker owners association has raised the edible oil prices up to Rs 25 per KG in the domestic market.
