Summary Lahore High Court has demanded record of prisoners unable to pay the amount of fine and Qisas.
Judicial Activism Penal moved a writ petition stating that prisoners in Jails are deprived of basic facilities of life. Neither they have been provided quality food nor any attention is given on their health, the petition said.Lahore High Court Justice Syed Kazim Raza Shamsi started heard the case.The petitioner’s counsel Muhammad Azhar Siddique said prisoners have been detained in jails more than capacity and space.Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah said that missing persons had been abducted before the PPP government assumed power.
