Summary Sindh High Court approved hearing on May 4 for petition to transfer Rajab Butt’s case from Karachi over security concerns after assault claims during a prior court appearance.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Sindh High Court heard a petition regarding the transfer of a case registered against YouTuber Rajab Butt at Haideri Police Station.

The petitioner pleaded that the case be moved outside Karachi, citing security concerns.

The court has fixed the petition for hearing on May 4, instructing both parties to submit their responses by then.

The petitioner’s lawyer argued that Rajab Butt faced assault despite having bail during a previous court appearance and emphasized the petitioner’s safety concerns if the case remained in Karachi.

The lawyer urged the court to transfer the case to another city.
