Dirty Picture earns positive response on its opening day

The much awaited film opened to huge crowds across India on its opening day and lived up to the pre-release excitement.In Kolkata, people rated Vidya Balan’s acting as excellent.“It was great. Vidya Balan is one of my favourite actresses. Her acting has been really awesome. Among the other stars, Naseeruddin Shah was the main actor but the other characters also played well. I really enjoyed the movie,” said a movie watcher.The film generated curiosity due to it being a biopic on the life of south Indian film actress Vijayalaxmi also known as Silk Smitha.The story of the film is based on the life of Vijayalaxmi, who entertained the people with her performances in various movies. The controversial actress, who was considered a sex symbol, died in mysterious circumstances.
