Summary Rod Stewart kicked off his musical residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Rod Stewart returned to Las Vegas to kick off his new residency at Caesars Palace, appropriately titled, Rod Stewart: The Hits. Stewart took to the Colosseums stage, where he and his 13-piece band played a range of songs including big hits like Maggie May, Rhythm of My Heart, Do Ya Think Im Sexy?, Forever Young, Tonights the Night and You Wear it Well.The 66-year-old British rocker turned standards crooner recently wrapped The Heart & Soul Tour with Stevie Nicks. In 2010, he embarked on a European summer tour which included eight concerts at the 4,300-seat Colosseum last November. The new show will mirror that one.His performance is the beginning of a two-year run at Caesars Palace where he will alternate with Celine Dion and Elton John.
