Lohan, who served two weeks in jail last summer, was taken from a Los Angeles court after being ordered to stand trial on June 3 on a reduced misdemeanour charge of stealing a $2,500 necklace in January.This would be Lohans fourth jail stint while she would spend 300 of her 480 hours at a womens centre. Lohans lawyer filed an immediate appeal and Lohans camp scrambled to post bail set at $75,000 to secure her swift release from custody pending that appeal.Lohan has been in and out of rehab, jail and courtrooms since 2007. Once considered among the most promising young actresses in Hollywood, Lohans career has come to a virtual halt but earlier this week she secured a role in an upcoming movie about New York mobster John Gotti.
