LONDON (Web Desk) – Indian cricketer Virat Kohli’s wife and renowned Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma once again faced criticism after her appearance in a picture shared on the Twitter of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
In the picture, Indian cricket team including captain Virat Kohli’s better-half Anushka Sharma, can be seen posing at the Indian High Commission in London.
After the picture went viral, their fans were trolling the couple for taking advantage of their status and popularity.
The fans were of the view that the couple took extra privilege. Only Kohli’s wife attended the ceremony just because she was a Bollywood star, they asked.
In reply, BCCI has explained that no violation of the protocol was attempted as all players were invited with family but only Anushka attended the event.
