(Dunya News) – In bid to curb unchecked vulgarity in theaters and to revive the family culture, the Punjab Home Department is planning strict monitoring of the industry.
The department aims to ban all performance by female actors featuring indecency. Moreover, ban will also be slapped on artists using profane dialogues.
As per new rules, it will be mandatory for all stage producers to get their scripts approved at least a week before performance whereas theatre artists will perform the script before monitoring team to get permission for performance.
