Summary Italian designers Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi created a dynamic luxury image for their fall/winter 2011/12 womenswear fashion show in Milan on Friday.
Ferre worked an architectural theme with leather, wool and silk garments in a contrasting palette of natural nude, white, black with touches of purple. Crystals and embroidery patterns added a sense of luxury to the collection, which featured fluid blouses with pleats and flares to add movement. Morning dresses opened at waist included oversized jackets and coats with fitted skirts cut below the knee.
