Summary A 76-year-old British salsa dancer found herself down but not out when she and her partner tumbled to the floor during a performance on Wednesday.
Sara Paddy Jones and her Spanish partner Nico Espinoza were in Peru, preparing for the countrys first World Salsa Congress, set to open on Thursday. The pair demoed their performance, known as acrobatic salsa, for the media. Amid a complicated series of spins, turns and swinging steps, Espinoza tripped over his feet, bringing the two of them crashing to the floor. But the pair recovered quickly, with Jones gallantly helping Espinoza to his feet, and they continued the performance, hardly missing a beat.
