Summary The highly nominated UK film, The King's Speech, picking up seven prizes with just two weeks to go before the Oscars and was screened out of competition at the Berlin Film Festival on Wednesday.
The royal biopic, which won awards for best film, best actor and best supporting actor and actress, also leads the field at the Academy Awards with 12 nominations. Director Tom Hooper said reports that Britains Queen Elizabeth approved of the film and found it moving were particularly gratifying.
