He was present at the Edhi morgue located in the Sohrab Goth area of Karachi where Aamir Zaki’s body was kept and was live streaming the video on Facebook. He mentioned the names with whom the guitarist had worked that includes Ali Haider, Hadiqa Kiani and Ahmed Jahanzaib.

“An artist has no value in Pakistan. Other artists should come and see how the body of Aamir Zaki is being kept. This situation can also come to them,” he said.

While responding to Waqar Zaka’s critique, Ali Haider posted a video on his Facebook account and expressed condolences over Aamir Zaki’s demise.

“Everyone knows that I have been living in the United Staes for over two years now and Hadiqa lives in Lahore. But you [Waqar] were in Karachi. You didn’t know what Zaki was going through. What’s the point of cashing in Zaki’s demise when you know that I am not in Pakistan?” Ali asked anxiously.

“You are blaming us as if we have confiscated his assets. You take yourself as a great social worker. Why didn’t you helped Zaki when you were present in Karachi. You should be ashamed of your actions,” he said.

Haider argued that if he wants to do something good, he will do it without making a noise.

“Stop defaming and blackmailing us as everyone already knows your reputation. I have always prayed for you and still ask Almighty to provide you with intellect,” urged Ali.

Ali Haider also warned the nation to beware of such people who ‘cash in’ on others demise.
