Country music queen Miranda Lambert made history with a record nine nominations for the 44th Annual CMA Awards. Lambert joined country music singer Dierks Bentley to announce the nominees for Best Album, Best Female and Best Male Vocalists of the Year. Lambert picked up the most nominations of any country woman in history, including Album of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Entertainer of the Year, Video of the Year, Single of the Year and Song of the Year. You know this has really, just been an amazing year and you know, the CMAs are on my birthday which is on November 10th and I've never won a CMA so I have a pretty good chance or not, I don't know, hopefully I'll win a birthday present, Lambert said. Her co-announcer Bentley received three nominations for Male Vocalist, Album of the Year and Musical Event. Country duo Steel Magnolia received a nomination in the vocal duo category. The 44th Annual CMA Awards airs on the ABC Television Network on November 10.
