The sense of patriotism never dies away; two British singers of Pakistani origin have gathered five thousand pounds by washing cars.Manchester singing duo, Bonafide took part in a charity car wash this weekend in a bid to raise money for the Pakistan Flood Appeal and working hard for two whole days, they managed to raise an amount of 5,000 pounds for the appeal. Ziggy and his partner Maz, came up with the idea of doing a charity car wash to raise funds and were pleased that it was a great success The duo set out to work from 9am to 6pm, however an overwhelming number of people turned up and the boys worked up until 8pm as well as fasting due to Ramadan.Maz commented, We feel it is our duty as British Pakistanis to do as much as we can to help raise funds and awareness for the victims in Pakistan. Every penny counts.Bonafide were so impacted by the tragedy in Pakistan they felt it was right to lend a hand and show their support to the fund raising.Not only did they take part in a charity car wash, Bonafide have also been busy in the studio adding finishing touches to their charity single.The duo thanked those who turned up at the Express Car Wash in Rochdale.
