Summary Professor California State University John Hickok visited PU library Thursday.
LAHORE: Faculty member of California State University, USA, international scholar and researcher John Hickok visited the main library of University of Punjab (UoP) here on Thursday.
He is also the executive member of American Library Association and International Outreach Librarian.
Chief librarian Chaudhry Muhammad Hanif welcomed him on his arrival and gave a detailed briefing regarding various services of the library to him.
John Hickok has been doing research on Eastern and South Eastern Asians libraries for last 10 years and his visit to the library was part of his research.
While appreciating the environment, facilities and services, John Hickok quoted that he did not visit such a library during his tour to Asia. He also delivered a lecture on latest trends in the US libraries on the occasion.
