Summary Academic Staff Association of UAF nominated Dr Younas as its CEC for the forthcoming election.
FAISALABAD: University of Agriculture Faisalabad on Monday nominated Professor Dr. Muhammad Younas as its Chief Election Commissioner for the election.
Dr Munir, president of ASA, expressed hope that after free and fair elections new general body would be able to continue its journey towards excellence in education and research.
He also highlighted the vibrant role of academic staff while claiming that it not only ranked 158th among global agricultural universities and 33rd among Asia Pacific Region, but the best Science & Technology University among Universities of Islamic World.
He said that in spite of acute financial crunch, UAF made tremendous progress in Research & Development activities. Dr. Amir Saeed Rana, General Secretary UAF, ASA also expressed their views on the occasion.
