Summary PU Vice Chancellor says students should learn English language as it has become academic language.
LAHORE: Punjab University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Mujahid Kamran has said that English is the academic language of the modern era that s why it is necessary to learn English language.
He was addressing the inauguration ceremony of High Lander School at Johar Town here on Sunday.
Prof Dr Mansoor Sarwar, Prof Dr Shaukat Ali, Raja Munawar, Haleem Bhatti Aleem Shakir and people from various walks of life were also present.
Dr Kamran said that around 750 verses of Holy Quran, which is 1/8th of the Holy Quran stressed observation of natural phenomena and resolution of mysteries of the universe which reflected the importance of knowledge in the Quran.
He lauded Chairman Haleem Bhati for introducing a course of driving for training of students.
