ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf said that government is utilizing all resources to provide education to the girl students.

 

Addressing the convocation of Fatima Jinnah Women University in Islamabad on Friday PM said that the nation is proud of Malala Yousafzai and the government is utilizing all resources to provide education to the girl students and will leave no stone unturned to provide facilities to the girl students.

 

He congratulated the passing-out students from the University and said we have to move forward through education with commitment and devotion.

 

PM underlined the need for research based education system in the country for achieving the goal of socio-economic development He said education is a way forward for the socio-economic development of the country.

 

The Prime Minister said seeking knowledge is obligatory for us as our great religion stresses on acquisition of knowledge both for men and women.

 

The Prime Minister said that the university will be able to provide education to more students after the construction of its new campus‚ for which the government will provide all resources.

 

Earlier‚ Chancellor of the University and Governor Punjab Sardar Latif Khosa said role of youth is very important as the country marches towards becoming a developed nation.

 

He urged the youth to crave for learning with application of knowledge in uplifting of downtrodden and betterment of society.
