BISP to start educational project from March

Chairperson Benazir Income Support Program (BISP)Farzana Raja said that Waseela-e-Taleem Program would start with an amount of 500 million dollars. British Development Organisation has already promised to provide 300 million pounds for this purpose, she added.She noted that a total of 7 million children would be educated with the help of Waseela-e-Haq Program. The children will be given a monthly scholarship of Rs 200, in addition to the provision of free books, she maintained.Chairperson BISP, Farzana Raja said that she supports the campaign called, ‘Parhnay Likhnay kay siwa, Pakistan ka matlab kia’ and added that an educated Pakistan is necessary for a prosperous Pakistan.
