Summary Former British PM and UN education envoy Gordon Brown will arrive Pakistan on Nov 09.

According to the sources, the former British premier will visit Pakistan on the invitation of President Asif Ali Zardari.During his visit, he will hold talks with President Asif Ali Zardari besides meeting and visiting different places related to education.Brown, who was prime minister of Britain from 2007-2010, will lead a delegation that will discuss with the Pakistani government how to improve education opportunities for children, particularly for girls.Brown was appointed special global education envoy to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon in July, following in the footsteps of former US president Bill Clinton and former UN secretary general Kofi Annan.Brown will hold key meetings with high officials of the Pakistani government and he will also be briefed about attack on Malala Yousafzai, who was shot in the head by the Taliban.Gordon Brown will also brief media regarding his visit on November 10.
