The test for the selection of the candidates against Higher Education Commission HEC reserved medical and engineering seats will be held on 7th October 2012 in four cities i.e. Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Karachi, Quetta, and Peshawar.According to a press release, the last date to apply is 2nd October 2012. The test would be conducted through National Testing Service Pakistan (NTS).HEC has announced reserved seats in the fields of medical and engineering for the students of Balochistan & FATA on open merit on self-finance basis.The 29 medical seats have been reserved in the medical colleges of KPK and around 60 seats in different engineering universities including UET Lahore, UET Taxila, UET Peshawar, MUET Jamshoro, and QUEST Nawabshah.The distribution of seats is on 60:40 ratios for the students of Balochistan & FATA respectively. This step would enable the students of Balochistan and FATA to get opportunity of equipping themselves with professional education at the leading higher education institutions of the country.
