Summary Teachers took out a rally against the government as they were not being regularised.
They demanded that the minister should make their promises.The rally held by the NCHD culminated at the press club and staged a sit-in there. They were holding placards and banners inscribed with their rights and shouting slogans for their rights.Protestors were of the view that the government had made promised with them so many times but no practical action was taken in this regard. And ultimately they were bound to come to the streets for their rights, they said.They were also of the view that they had graceful experience of teaching and hundreds of schools would be closed if they were deprived from their jobs.They demanded the higher authorities for special measures to secure their jobs.
