Summary Liaqat medical university will remain closed for three days over the killing of a neurosurgeon.
The medical fraternity announced on Wednesday three-day mourning and demanded a judicial probe into the incident.Dr Aftab Qureshi, who was abducted from Karachi on May 13, 2012, was gunned down on Wednesday in an exchange of fire after police conducted a raid on his captor’s house in Qasimabad.The ongoing papers in the university have also been postponed.Meanwhile, Pakistan medical association Sindh also announced to close outpatient departments (OPDs) of government hospitals.
