Woman stabs husband, asks him 'not to die'

(Web Desk) – A woman in Mexico’s city was caught on camera by bystanders asking for forgiveness from her dying husband.

The scene of the crime was outside a motel in Iguala, Guerrero. Eye witnesses reported a woman named Sonia Amairani Núñez holding her battered and bleeding husband Erick Omar Díaz after stabbing him.

According to media reports, the woman after attacking her husband was seen holding him in her arms and begging him not to die, according to her she acted in self-defense.

The woman was heard saying, ‘Forgive me my love, please don’t die’.

 He hit me. He tried to kill me... tell them the truth,’ cried Sonia.

During this time, Diaz accused the sulking wife of trying to kill him and asked the bystanders to get him some help.

While, the woman outright denied her husband’s accusation of an attempt on his life.

 I am not going to kill you because I love you,  the wife added.

Diaz in pain responded to her wife,  God is really a witness. 

Diaz was taken to the hospital where he is recovering from his injuries, while Sonia is still under arrest.
