QRF recovers underground storage of ammunition from Karachi park

Summary QRF arrived at the scene and unearthed 17 boxes of ammunition and a sack.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Quick Response Force (QRF) on Monday recovered underground storage of ammunition from a park located in Karachi’s Shah Faisal Colony.



Rangers’ spokesperson says that two locals Babar and Nauman informed Rangers after coming across a suspected box and sack during tree plantation.



QRF arrived at the scene and unearthed 17 boxes of ammunition and a sack while digging deeper into the park. The boxes contained approximately 3300 rounds of SMG while the sack had 12-bore rifle and 400 cartridges.



Two weeks back, Rangers had recovered a huge cache of weapons from a house located in Azizabad following a tip off from detained suspects Mustaqeem and Muqeem who belong to Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) South Africa network.
