MANAWALA (Dunya News) - A gang of four unidentified dacoits looted the house of a local landlord Abdul Qayyum, in Chak Hathiana village Shahkot in Jalandhar district.
As per details provided by the police, the suspects broke into the landlord’s house and robbed cash, jewelry, prize bonds and other valuables.
Abdul Qayyum and his two sons Aftab Qayyum, Badar Qayyum were at home when the incident occurred however, the armed culprits took the family hostage at gunpoint.
Police filed first information report (FIR) after Abdul Qayyum’s complaint and initiated investigation into the matter.
The suspects robbed gold jewelry, Rs35,000 and a motorcycle, the officers reported.
