KARACHI (Dunya News) – The investigators on Monday have requested the court to extend physical remand of the suspects involved in the murder of 19-year-old Intezar Ahmed.
According to details, as many as eight detained police officers appeared before the court during which, the judge was requested to extend their physical remand.
At least 13 bullets were fired at Intezar’s vehicle in the night because he allegedly did not follow instructions to stop by anti-car lifting personnel, the officer told the court.
Earlier, talking to media, family of Intezar Ahmed rejected detained police’s claim to have killed the youth over a personal dispute with another group.
They demanded Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar and Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa to help bring the criminals to justice.
Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah had called on bereaved family of Intezar Ahmed at the residence and offered his condolences, assuring the grieving parents that the perpetrators in the case would be brought to justice.
