KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police personnel on Saturday arrested three members of ‘white corolla dacoit gang’ during a raid in Karachi’s Shahra-e-Faisal area.
The officers said that the criminals were looting locals when they arrived at the scene and apprehended them in injured condition after an exchange of fire. They said that suspects Ali, Babar and Abdul Rauf used to rob people coming from abroad while wearing police uniform.
They also claimed that fake number plates and weapons were also recovered from the possession of the burglars, belonging to Lahore.
All three dacoits were living in a rest house in Karachi while a passerby Maqsood also lost his life during the operation, said policeman.
The higher official further told that the security agencies were working on their detention for one month, adding that the suspects were wanted in more than 22 dacoity cases.
