KARACHI (Dunya News) – Two local men on Friday successfully caught a pair of robbers in Model Colony of Karachi’s Malir area. The robbers, however, were armed with duplicate pistols.
Citizens audaciously grappled with the looters and succeeded to catch them red handedly. After a merciless session of beating and thrashing, the locals came to know that the robbers were armed with duplicate toy pistols.
This prompted the citizens to wreck yet more havoc on the hapless crooks, who were handed over to rangers shortly afterwards.
As recent incidents depict, exasperated with loot and plunder on daily basis, Karachiites have begun to resort to vigilante justice.
Due to police negligence coupled with their collusion with the criminal networks, street criminals also do not seem to be deterred by the law.
