LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – A district court in Punjab’s capital sent a man on physical remand after allegations of blackmailing a girl using social media.
Victim Maria told court that her photographs were uploaded on Facebook before she was blackmailed. The court sent the suspect on three-day physical remand and handed them over to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
“Maria’s photographs were uploaded on social media by suspect Ifan Alam and she was blackmailed through it,” FIA official told court, adding that they have recovered mobile data from suspect.
FIA had earlier asked the court to give seven-day physical remand for further investigation and recovery of more pictures of the girl from suspect.
