Summary Intoxicants met the same fate as their victims at Russian Beach Karachi
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Karachi coastguards set fire to 3.45 Kg Marijuana, 131 Kg Opium and 1.3 Kg of heroine. The coastguards also had thousands of bottle and cans of liquor bulldozed at Russian Beach Karachi.

The drug eradication ceremony organized by the coastguards was attended by senior Minister Nisar Khuhro among many people belonging to different walks of life.
This is not the first time the coastguards have put drugs to flame and this is certainly not the last, evident from the fact that the coastguards have destroyed drugs and liquor numerous times in the past after they were taken in custody while they were being smuggled in Pakistan.
Despite rhetoric and zero tolerance policy from the institutions, The intoxicants thrive in Pakistan, putting a question mark in the capabilities of the institutions.
