KARACHI (Daily Dunya) – Medical board on Wednesday has declared the alleged suicide of a maid in Karachi’s Defence area as murder after carrying out postmortem again.
The security officials have said that proper investigation would be launched after receiving written document in this regard.
It is to be mentioned here that body of 17-year-old Fatima was recovered from a house on Saturday after which initial report termed the incident as suicide however, the medical board once again carried out her autopsy and found that the girl was murdered.
The medical board that includes Dr Samia Syed, additional police surgeon, senior medico-legal officer (MLO) Dr Qarar Abbas, Dr Ejaz Ahmed and Dr Farhat Mirza said torture marks were visible on body’s face, lips and other parts.
