KARACHI (Dunya News) – Anti-Corruption Circle of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested suspect Abdul Ghaffar for providing expired medicines to the government hospitals in Karachi.
A team under Assistant Director Khalid Jameel and provincial drug inspector’s supervision conducted a raid and seized the medicines which were later sent for laboratory test.
The officers said that the suspect was also involved in unregistered and without license manufacturing of the medicines.
A case under 17/17 Drug Act 1976, section number 30 and article number 27 and r/w-23 has also been lodged.
