SHIKARPUR (Dunya News) – The death toll in firing incident between two groups of Jatoi family in Shikarpur’s Khanpur has escalated to 14.
Heavy contingent of police from Larkana, Jacobabad and Kashmore has arrived in the area for mega operation as dispute between Badani and Saad Khanani tribes continued.
It is to be mentioned here that both groups attacked each other with light machine guns (LMGs) and rocket launchers on Monday afternoon, killing 14 and injuring several others.
The shooting was stopped over the involvement of the heads after which the injured people and the bodies were shifted to the nearby hospital for post mortem.
The tribes also opened firing at security personnel who tried to enter the area.
